ICT SupportAnambra State ICT Agency
This policy governs the proper use, security and maintenance of every computer issued to Anambra State public servants under the Governor's computer-distribution programme. Every officer allocated a device is expected to read, understand and uphold it.
Who this applies to: all Anambra State public servants issued a government laptop, desktop or tablet โ across every Ministry, Department and Agency. The device remains government property and is provided to help you serve the people of Anambra State.
Government computers are tools for official duties. This policy sets the standard for using them productively, securely and responsibly โ protecting government data, the device, and the officer. It complements the State's wider ICT modalities and is enforced by the ICT Agency.
Use your government PC primarily for official work: correspondence, document preparation, e-government services, approved platforms and professional development.
Windows + L (or your screen-lock) every time you leave the device, even briefly.@anambrastate.gov.ng) for all government communication โ never a personal address.Report immediately. If your government PC is lost, stolen, compromised or behaving abnormally (unexpected pop-ups, ransomware messages, unknown programs), contact ICT support at once via the support chat or the support desk. Fast reporting limits harm and protects government data.
The ICT Agency maintains all government devices. For any fault, question or service request:
By using a government-issued computer, every officer confirms they have read, understood and agree to abide by this policy. Misuse may lead to withdrawal of the device and disciplinary action in line with public-service rules. Let us use these tools to deliver efficient, transparent and citizen-centric service to the people of Anambra State.
